Subject: HPA tank and regulator setup?

I have a custom PRO act with the standard trigger, I also have a 72/3000 HPA tank with a remote line setup.
I bought a Bob Long Torpedo in line regulator (4.5" long), if I screw it to the top of my HPA tank then the remote on top of that the system will be hitting me in the upper part of my back and that doesn't sound very comfortable when running.
Any advise on how I can make the the regulator seperate from the HPA tank or put in on an extention of some sort and mount it to the side of my harness. I don't see any good way to mount it to my custom pro?
Thanks for any ideas. Vince

Could I not just buy another remote line and hook up the first remote line from the HPA tank to the regulator (first removing the quick release and screwing it direct into the regulator) then screwing another quick release line to the regulator and that would go to the gun?
That should work right?

Why even use the reg. youre running a tippmann with no electronics so you probably dont need a reg.

Uh.. I don't even remotely understand what Ekeboo meant by that... A regulator can save air and regulate shots more consistantly... It dosen't matter if you have a E-Frame or Response Trigger, or just the most reliable all mechnical marker (SEMI). And yes Vince, what you said SHOULD work. Note the "Should" lol P.S. If you ever switch regulators.. try the Evil Detonator.. it does wonders.

you could just buy a V/A...
EDIT: Oh, sorry, i missed the Direct part of the regulator name.
So what you could do is screw the reg into the valve (where the gas
line normally goes) and then do one of two things. Either run the ASA
to it like you normally would, and then the remote to the ASA. 2nd
option: run the remote straight to the reg. I dont know how, but i know
it can be done.
