what would be the best dremel attachment to file down the sightrail on my 98 custom?also what RPM should i use?

Just use a cutoff wheel, clamp the gun in a vise with no internals (Just the halves together with like 2 bolts) and rough out the shape you want with the rear sight.

Then go to hand files to clean it up, after thats done go down in coarse to fine grain steel wool.

If you take your time with it and plan it out before you cut it will look great.

You would probably want to use the highest speed setting possible with the cutoff wheel.
