so i was thinking of selling my psp and buying an ipod 2g nano but my freind said another freind of his had one and that u can only dowload off i tunes is this true?? if so ill get a different brand -------------

You need iTunes but you don't have to purchase music off iTunes. Any songs on CD's can be ripped into .mp3's through iTunes and any .mp3s downloaded of Limewire will work. And why would he spring for a 30 gig one? The Nano is smaller, I doubt he has more than 1,000 songs, and uses flash memory. |

The reason one might spring for the 30 gb is that it is a mere fifty dollars more and you get five times the space and a bigger screen to watch videos on. I love my nano but sometimes I wish I would have just bought the regular iPod. |

limewire rocks...but all my friends say that you can only download off of itunes...which is not true i would think...oh well i hate ipods anyway so i really wouldnt know...

i wouldn't call product specs scientific, but they definitely serve as proof on the vision product line. the vision m's screen is better to begin with. then there is a whole mess of thigns it will do that the ipod won't. anywho, get an ipod if you want, i'll agree that it is easier for the common user to put files on. nano's suck IMO. way too overpriced for what they are limited to. -------------
