I finally got a new feedneck (empire) for my ion. I am having trouble getting the stock one off though. The manufacturers put it on so dang tight, its impossible to unscrew it. I was told you should use a special wrench with a leather/rubber strap (I cant remember the name). If anyone knows the name of the wrench I would be happy to know, or if you used a different technique to remove the stock feedneck. Btw, i have a halo b with rip. |

| I've heard of Loctite being used on the stock feed necks. If that's the case you might want to use a hair dryer or heat gun to loosen the Loctite. Be careful not to heat it too much, though. |

Use a wrench or...if you dont care much about the stock feedneck, a vise-grip. ------------- Pumpker'd; (V.) When a pump player runs up and shoots you at point blank range because you thought 20bps made you good. |

I used my eggy to loosen mine up. It was unintentional, because the old feedneck was a pain in the backside. Twisting the hopper unscrewed the stock feedneck like nobody's business. The new Q-lock feedneck I got for my Ion works great! -------------
