Meh. Rambino brought up some good points about that, but I still think it's kind of ugly. Of course, the target market might apprciate it.

"We're equally as excited about some new products on the horizon for our loyal woodsball consumers."
But, I guess I will personaly appologize for the pbc comment. But really that was directed at the 100 free ones, and the new hellhound. It just seems alittle far fetched.

Maybe if Tippmann were entering the NERF gun market, it would be intimidating. Blah...

Yeah, I think they just took the body off of a nailgun, milled it a bit, and threw 98 internals in there. Either Tippmann's new owners actually think that's a good idea, or they're just trolling IRL.

Boo Summit Partners.
I would like to thank Howard A. Kosick, Tippmanns new CEO for sending Tippmanns reputation as a company down the drain.
For those of you that dont know he was the former CEO of Bell Bike Helmets and was sent to work for Tippmann by our beloved Summit Partners.

it actually uses many parts from the 98 i believe. so where does that mean spyder? when i think spyder, i think stacked tube blowback operation. someone explain where in-line blowback = stacked tube?
sounds like some people just said LOL SPYDER CLONE without reading the actual product specs...

Very true. Tippmann just confirmed to me also that the Triumph guns use 98 barrel threads. I guess that means I'll have to get another barrel back...
Not field-strippable, however, which could be trouble if you chop.

If it uses 98 internals as well, which it might by looking at its design/ bolt, then the ACT would probably come standard too, which would help a bit.

Looking at the pictures, I doubt it would be very hard to put in bolts/nuts instead of screws.
