So I'm at my buds on the Sidekick 3! Anyway I just got done taking a shot of absinthe. I had tasted/drank many beers and liqours in my short career about 7 years. Now drinking absinthe imported by a friend who went to europe, I can check off one of the tops liqours I have drank. The only one I can think of I haven't is Johny Walker Blue Label and a few others. If your a drinker I'M me at OfnaBuggyRacer. This phone does everything

Absinthe is really nothing special. It just has the anise taste to it. Just like Pernod and such.
And none of the Johnnie Walker's are anything special, and that includes the overpriced, overrated Blue Label.
Oh, and yeah, you're like cool and stuff.

I prefer Guinness, Red Stripe, and Woodchuck Amber Draft as far as beer goes. Well Woodchuck really isn't beer, but whatever.
Liquor..Tequila is my favorite. I enjoy whiskey from time to time as well.

I don't personally drink, but my aunt is from Russia, so she got my folks some vodka for a gift. It's supposed to be some of the best in the world, straight from Ossetia.
Yes, it's a full, unopened bottle, it's just crystal clear.

Looks like some good stuff. I don't really like vodka too much anymore. Even the really nice vodka. The cheap stuff like McCormick, Popov, etc killed it for me.

beer is ok, the darker ales are my choice, not the bud or but light crap.
but i choose hard liqour.
crown and pepsi or my new favorite:
crown and juice (orange, strawberry and bananna mix stuff, find it at walmart)
anyways with that last mix of mine, i downed a whole bottle of crown with the juice...oh god it was good.

You silly blended scotch drinker.
For the price of Blue Label, I can get a couple single malts that offer more flavour and complexity than Blue Label could ever dream of providing.
Lets look at some interesting combos.
Laphroaig 10 year, Lagavulin 12 year Cask, and perhaps a 12 year old Macallan.
Or say, a bottle of Lagavulin Distiller's Edition and a Highland Park 18.
Or at the very least, I could just go grab a bottle of any of JMR's blends(possibly the only blended scotch that I drink) and that would only set me back 30 dollars. http://www.jonmarkandrobbo.com/ourstuff/smokey.html - I prefer the peaty one
It's not that I can't afford it.
It's that I have taste.

Hmmm... a true scotch guy... I will now lay aside any further shots and talk alcohol!
Yup, I will drink THAT blended Scotch and the blend is what gives it its complexity... it isn't one-dimensional in quality, it has the "oakiness" and the depth of several high-end barrels together... plus I dig the extra little vanilla taste.
Based on what you have listed, it is obvious that your tastes run to the heavier peaty malts...
Laphroaig 10 year - very hard to find around here, I think I tried it in Vegas and it was alright. But if it was in Vegas, I wouldn't remember any details anyway. What happens in Vegas...
Lagavulin 12 year Cask - Lagavulin is pretty nice but I prefer their 16-year, I like the wine-y, sherry flavoring. It is a little smoky though. Have you tried the Caol Ila? It is from near the same Islay Region.
12 year old Macallan - honestly, I've never been a Macallan fanboy. There is a little bit of, hmmm... "harshness?" (can you call anything about a whiskey NOT harsh?) that I find a bit too over the top.
With everything you like, I am suprised that you didn't mention Talisker. It may be hard to find and you will pay a little for it, but great stuff. Their 18-year is about $70-80 but you won't be disappointed.

Interesting, I must run for now, but we must talk more.
Hehehe, and lets not forget Irish whiskey and bourbon.
Also, yes that is correct, I enjoy Islay's the most.
Oh, and cognac. Teehee!
Oh Joy!

trying absinthe is like my single life aspiration. i don't care if you call me pathetic, if i got my hands on some good absinthe, it'd be done.
apart from that rant, i find myself drinking jager.. alot, my last name is mast so i'm kinda drawn to it. and if it's a beer night, either guiness or bud. and if it's a BEERFEST! night- there's nothing like natty light.
