Well... it may be a little on the heavy side but I LOVE it. After looking at this thing for about 3 months or so I finally bought it from OPSGEAR around the end of July and have been thanking myself ever since.

Gotta love that rusted screw.

Well how much did ya pay for it.  Cause I don't know if I would pay much more money for that than I would for a stock 98 Custom.

What type and what length is the barrel.

The Magazine is too big.

The shroud looks heavy but is pretty nice for the overall milsim look.

The bipod is quite often useless, but it is one of the better quality bipods on the market.

I'd give it a 6/10

Edit - I don't love the rusted screw, therefore I change my mark to a 5/10.

And what is that think on the end of the barrel?  Is that supposed to make the barrel louder?

The thing on the end of the barrel is simply a muzzle break to follow the look of Barrets M82A1 .50 cal Sniper Rifle (same thing goes for the box magazine on the bottom and shroud). Yes, it does make it louder, much louder. It has an 18 inch fluted barrel on it and the bipod is useless during game play, though I use it for target practise or during "big games" whenever I get the chance too (not often). I paid big bucks for it because I like the m82 and I could afford it. (Roughly $390.00 including tax, shipping from Utah to Canada, duty at customs and the bipod). The shroud isnt that bad for weight, under two pounds but it still adds of course. Right now the marker weighs in at about 8 pounds.

I love the looks of it.  Phil is wrong on the rating.  No offense Phil.  It deffinetly has that 50 cal. look.  Good job.

More accurate? No. Overall probably useless? Of course. Does it look frickin' cool and actually make me wish I had one? Heck yes...

Get the carry handle and a red-dot to complete the look.

A little harsh don't ya think? You took of a point because of a rusty grip screw?

I want to make the loudest gun I can, Just so when I shoot, people will be like, "O NoeZ!!!11! That's <my real name> and he's fixing to PWN!" before they even see me.

I think I'm gonna put a Dishka break on a non-ported barrel on my Rainmaker...

My pgp is the loudest marker i've ever heard.  but i think it might be the unported barrel...  or maybe the brass..  they do make horns out of brass...

about the marker, really not my thing.  but if you like it, then that's all you need.

It looks pretty cool. All you need to finish the look is a red dot.

I have a red dot reflex sight but it unfortunately won't mount to the dovetail on this paticular kit. I'm going to have to go out and either buy a new one, or buy longer screws for the one I currently have.

Carrying handle = on my list to get as soon as I have money again.

The marker is VERY loud which I love. At my last game people kept trying to get me to use it just to get the opponents heads down so they could advance, knowning damn well that it wasnt going to hit them. But fear can always be a great thing when used correctly I suppose. Actually... I shot a round beside my team captain and I think he went deaf for about 30 seconds in the ear closest.

get a scope and it would be perfectly millsim

and don't fold out the stock

no offense but the a-5 one looks better.

sweetness=9/10

origionality=1/10

but still sexy

The stock needs to be all the way out in order to protect the nipple for the Co2 supply... >.>

I'd like to get a nice scope but I found that I never really had the time nor the place to use my sight when it was on before I got the kit...

no i meant the scope for millsim only.

i have a scope but i never use it just for looks.

you can buy a nice $60 scope and it will be large enough to look cool but still not too expensive.

Hey instead of buying a new red dot why not look for a riser rail so you can use your existing one? One thing you'll notice about all of these kits and using a red dot scope is that when you start playing with your mask on you can get around to seeing properly through the scope lens because the stock is in your way if you're trying to fire with the gun to your shoulder either in prone or standing position. Give it a try, you'll know what I mean.
The rail that is on the M82 kit is most likely a weaver rail and since you're talking about getting longer screws for your existing red dot I would assume that you have a dovetail like most BB guns. I'm sure theres something around that will suit your needs.
My friend just bought this kit recently and he loves it. I'm not going to give a rating but all you need to know is that its on my list of "acquisitions" for milsim kits.

i personally think it looks horrible, not at all like an m82... more similar to other 50 cal rifles maybe...  It's just got too many PARTS of the m82, but not enough for it to flow.

You do get points for not having a BT though :P

I agree...

Well, a few days ago I proved that this beast is hella' accurate on the field. I goggled a guy from about 50-60 feet away, through a 2 inch gap in a wooden wall with only 2 shots (the first shot hit the wall.) AND without a scope. There is only one thing I can say.

I love my marker.

or luck i strongly doubt that was anything but luck hahah.

you should look into getting an apex and an adaptor so you can put it on your m82 barrel.

It wasn't luck because I made at least 3 or 4 more shots like that the rest of the game. I mean they werent that amazing but it was extremly accurate for that round. For instance, someone had their barrel sticking about 1 inch out of this fencing and I pegged that from about 30 feet, another bunker shot from about 50 feet and a few others.
