Hey guys I just got a Tippmann 98 custom. I don't think it has A.C.T. and I was wondering if this is gonna give me big problems. This is my first gun by the way so any help or advice would be appreciated. Thanks.

naaaa you don't need a better hopper right away. you probably won't be able to outshoot the hopper it comes with with that single trigger. first off BUY A NEW BARREL. the stock barrel sucks. look at the upgrades and customizing section for more stuff. welcome to the forum

Tippmanns don't usually chop much in the first place. ACT is just an added bonus. If think you will chop, buy a faster hopper.

Forget about it. You probably wont have to worry about chopping yet. If you decide to get a firepower upgrade, then definately look into an electric hopper. I would reccomend a new barrel first and then playing with the gun to see what you think you need.

my suggestion is to get the cyclone feed for your 98c its the best feed system i have found and as far as chopping goes i havent had one chop yet and try out the proto 14 inch barrel there inexpensive and are very accurate

If you just want to have a consistant feed, I suggest just getting a cheap hopper that doesn't cost much like a Revvy.
