ok I made a home made double trigger for my gun out of some scrap steel my dad had laying around. It works for the most part when when i put in a couple spacers the trigger doesn't always reset. So I tryed putting a sear spring in to replace the trigger spring. Wasn't straight so I put a little rod in and the spring is straight but it still doesn't always reset correctly. Should i try making a little spacer for the spring to sit on or something entirely different? By the way it was fine before and took out the slop with the spacers.

Sorry I don't know how to make them show up so you don't have to click on them

I think its cause the spacers are causing alot of friction. Maybe you could try some regular metal spacers, and alot of oil.

Or just one spacer, and some oil, or grease, grease would probably work better.

Well you can cock your gun while its open, then test it from there.

Theres really not much support for homemade triggers, its a trial and error thing.

yeah it is a trial and error thing you just have to make sure the top part that is in the gun works and then you can do whatever you want on the bottom.

I made it works by the way I tryed a few metal spacers and sanding down washers to make them fit...none worked and then I tryed puttin both sets of the plastic spacers on the left side and it works. I left in the sear spring.

try putting a mill file in a vice teeth up and file the sides down VERY slowly till it works right. it looks like you used a drimel tool. so it may just need smothing the sides out. but with anything handmade it is trial & error, hopefully more trial than error... good luck
