I personaly think that the PCS US 5 needs to be taken to court..doesnt Tippmann have a patent on the A-5...cause this PCS US 5 is remarkably close...in looks not quality. hah ok im sure you all know that im the only one on the forum with a us-5 the us-5 is in no way a copycat of the a-5 as like tippmann freak said they use the mp-5 body. if youve ever held them and looked at them up close, you would see that they are nothing the same. don't argue on the quality as i think they are the same quality. but with the us-5 you get more for less money. (the electronic i mean) it's not like i was forced into the us-5, i did chose it over an a5 (tough decision but i dont regret it) ------------- <just say no to unnecessarily sexualized sigs> |

but i do aggree that this was a dumb poll. cause this is the tippmann forum and people are obviously gona prefer the tippmann gun if this was a pcs forum than people would say the us-5 is better. you own a us-5, you think it's better, you own an a5, you think its better ------------- <just say no to unnecessarily sexualized sigs> |

Good points..I am aware that the A-5 and the Us-5 are modled after a MP5/HK5 Bodies...but I was dissappointed...I want to see some oringinality. My buddy owns A Us-5 he but an e-grip in..but it didnt compare to mine. So I think that the A-5 is by far a better MOD gun and I also think there better on reliability

not necessarily on reliability yes for now the a5 has more mods but pcs is releasing a few items a month for the us-5 now (the most recent being a sweet double trigger) ------------- <just say no to unnecessarily sexualized sigs> |

pmi copys everyone's ideas... but they also improve on some things.. Piranha= Spyder Us-5= A-5 Omen= Cocker Pimp= Impulse Minion= Dye Matrix/proto really, they do make improvements. the Us-5's improvement was the inexpensiveness. I don't know what the big deal about it is though. People will obviously favor the real deal... And also, just because they "copy" other companies, doesn't mean they don't try to make a quality product. Empire "copied" Odessy's Halo shells, noone complains about that. The only reason they do it, is because the product has already been made. All they have to do is improve on it. ------------- X |

I could be wrong but it appears that Tippmann has given rights to several companies to do their own spin on Tippmann manufactured guns. Is this not the case with the pcs us5? I would get one today if it didn't have Spyder barrel threads. Makes me a bit sick to my stomach because I really want one. |

wow what a succesfull convo. I just wish that the A-5 could be unique to the paintball world... even though it is modeled after a MP5/HK5 body. But you guys should understand more that any group of people that the A-5 is an outstanding gun. I own one, therefore I hate it. When you suddenly move from woodsball to speedball, you start to see the negatives. Exspecially when you play snake and snapshooting is essiental. -------------

You now play speedball? You have a R/T set up? Go E-grip. I think that the A-5 works better as a woodsball gun. I do have an E-grip. I have ne with W.A.S and got one with the old board accidentally. I'm selling my whole though so I didn't think updating my sig was worth it, atleast until my new gear arrives. -------------
