ok on my A-5 at the front there is the 2 bolts (receiver bolts) I have made an opps and stripped the bottom front receiver bolt. Does anyone have any idea how to get that bolt out of there with out damaging the threads? Please be my saint...I cant properly clean the inners with that bolt still there. Thanks guys

| A bolt remover tool, or you can take an allen wrench put some jb weld on the end of it and stick it to the bolt, then wait for the jb to set and turn the bolt out. |

I do a two step method when this happens: First I use a dremel cutting tool, preferably worn down a bit, or even purposely ground down to a smaller diamter (use it against scrap metal) and use that to cut a slot into the head of the bolt as far as it can go and just short of it cutting into the body. Then hopefully a flat head screwdriver is enough to turn it. Sometime, the bolt is stuck in far enough where the head then breaks. If this is unsuccessful, go to step two. Use a drill (or reverse drill bit if you have one) and drill straight through the middle of the bolt until one of two things happens: 1) the drill bit is in there nice and tight and you can put the drill on reverse and the bolt will come out with it or 2) the drill bit goes all the way through the bolt and does not catch. If the latter happens, you can usually use a screwdriver or even a pair of pliers to turn the screw out. It is not nearly as tight with the middle of the bolt missing. Just be careful not to use too larger a bit and/or to damage the threads of the nut. |

JB Weld method is the easiest with no risk of damage to the marker or threads. -------------
