Subject: my unforgotten 98c and DM5...

I had some free time these weeks off during my transition between high
school and college and worked on my 98c and bought a DM5...but I'm
really pleased that i got to work on my 98c a little more and i maybe
finish before X-mas.

img]

after a quick cleaning from being milled a little and being polished...

i wanted to take a look at it before i painted it again...

AFTER being painted Green(actually it was just the primer, i ran out of
paint a month ago and i was tired of looking at my 98c without paint on
it):

my gun would look cool white...**** flash...

Specs:
.14inch cp or lapco bigshot
.toxic performance double trigger
.palmers reg
.Halo B with shock tech spring and Critical Cone
.RD centerfeeder
.dye stickies
.GTA rail
.dye asa or GTA LPR
.GTA E-bolt(not in pic) or R/T
.full boar cocking knob
.68ci 4500psi crossfire tank with NXE cover
.spring kit

mods:
.super R/T
.No trigger spring
.trigger stop
.polished internals
.custom milling
.double ball detents
.ported VA
.tank o-ring on front bolt
.quick strip

Better pics of milling and paint job:

also here is my DM5:

Finally got it fixed and put in my CP trigger...much better than the stock
trigger i think...also got new grips and a proto barrel..ya i know a proto
barrel...it was only $20 and it shots a lot better than my used JT barrel.
right now i really don't have as much money as before so nothing has
changed much...so in a few weeks when i get a job things should start
movin...

It's so you don't have to take a whole receiver half off if you open it up.  Say he needed to replace the ball detent.  He could just take the front part of the receiver half off.  Or, say his sear needed to be replaced.  He could just take the back part off.  It minimizes the risk of small parts flying across the room.

lol, ya...but i could always take it off...i did it because i was tired of
looking at it without paint and sitting in my closet.

estcstpnt: i milled my gun cause i could...i would not mill my DM5
because i like the milling...but i thought my 98c when i first got it was a
little plain but a nice gun so with a little help from Model98.net(RIP) and
Model98.org i did.

Brian Fellows: could not have said it better myself...also to clean chops
better without taking the whole gun apart at a field.

FeVeR: my E-bolt ram is in another 98c i bought and the board and all the
other parts to the E-bolt are in a box....it still works...but i want to work
on that gun a little more before i use it..

also thanks for the good feedback on my guns....
