You have to use like a DM board and mill that into the grip frame and the mill the body for eyes and make sure they line upand then wire everything up
very complicated

Im just kidding. I dont even know if there is enough room in the gun for eyes. about how big are they? and I hear that there are different kinds of eyes. what makes one kind better/worse than others?

it's a tippmann effect marker. another one is Natural Newbie's 98, which is 100x better.

^^^it's a pro/semi pro team that uses all tippmann markers...competatively. they customize a couple here and there, but pretty much, all their markers used are 98's with e-grips, lpr, usually the camo decals kit, and maybe a tippmann barrel. Most have the centerfeed upgrade. i havn't kept up on them much lately, so i'm not certain about the specs. The 98 with eyes isn't an actual Tippmann Effect marker, it was just built by someone directly affiliated with TE.
go google them. they've got some pretty sweet pics.

i bet it would be way easier to just run the regular egrip microswitch in series with the photodiode detector, and probably a potentiometer. emitter would be powered independently. breakbeam eyes for ~1usd - check jameco

If you did try this, and sold it, you could prolly make quite a bit of money.

impractical? no. more work than it's worth? probably.
the way the cyclone is timed, it's impossible to chop.
edit: assuming you aren't shooting greater than the cycle rate of the cyclone.

I still say it's impractical which by the way means that it's more work than it's worth same same. However the reason that it's impractical is becuase if you chop in a tippmann it won't damage anything, and all you really have to do is shoot a few more times to clean the barrel out. If your worried about accuracy all I can say is don't be. The Tippmann is like the AK in every realm, one or two shots at a time and the thing is deadly but when you go to shoot 8+ balls in a second it goes all over the place and on a tippmann with an e-grip forget it your done on accuracy.

ha, actually I stood true to my tippmann a long time for the same reasons, people cried about how heavy it was and how much it kicked and all the while I was saying get over it pansies but then I got a nerve and realized that the amount of recoil does matter for accuracy. Stryoflome I guess I didn't recongnize the sarcasm in your remark.

does an ebolt cut down on recoil?
try shooting a real AK, now that is FUN recoil!! but its just a push rather than a thump. I can handle an AK, I think I can handle my A5

no, i meant i thought you might have been being sarcastic... you do bring up a point though... but really, the recoil on 98's isn't all that much... but then again, i play stock class, so i'm used to reaiming after every shot... also, i shoot an eclipsebladed autococker... and that thing bounces pretty hefty..
