Just today i was speaking with a friend of mine about the Tippmann A-5, and he told me that he had a friend that removed a spring from this trigger mechanism within his A-5 that coused it to become a full-auto. I trust this guy a whole lot! and i need to know if it is true, that you can remove a spring in the trigger system that would alow the 'stock, right out of the box' A-5 to become full auto.

There are several ways to do that - and they all involve breaking a bucket of paint - we call it the "blender mod".

"Blender mod" as in "it will turn your gun into a blender and break every ball you try to shoot".

Oh, dah. so this is somthing i don't want to mess with then? i don't understand how it would effect the Cyclone, or is it not the Cyclone thats doing the 'blending'?

The same mods work with the 98 as well - it's not a Cyclone thing.  Basically, the bolt cycles out of control too fast for any feeder.

Is there a way to bypass this? Im guessing not, but how much does the gun go out of control? Is it even worth doing this to my A-5, or should i leave it alone?

It does 27 Balls a second. Don't even try it. You will get paint in your gun and you will have a big mess. I'm not too sure but some people have said that it wears the internals of your gun.

i wouldn't do it.  full-auto is a bit of a waste anyway.  it's cool at first, though...

its also bad cuz the bolt alot of the times doesnt have time to cycle all the way back, so you end up just chopping like crazy

I don't think it wears your internals any more than normal, it just seems like that because you will be shooting(chopping) at like 30bps.

Does taking any part of your gun out without replacing it with something really sound like a good idea?

98 trigger spring removal mod does

Ive seen Kids on the web take spiders w/out the grip and just pull back the bolt and let go. wow what fun.... it sounds fast.... that does not win games people!!!

My A5 can run 20 bps no chopping, but in games I run about 9 bps. I like it being able to run that fast, knowing it will not ever chop at 9 bps
