Cause according to our prof, our 4 senses are smell, taste, texture, and temperature.

Have I been wrong all these years?

In fair turn, your papers should be written in wing-ding font.

"Cognition For Design"

She's the one I recorded/ posted in the woe's thread:
http://media.putfile.com/wtf2 - http://media.putfile.com/wtf2

She was just telling us how "the age of people each year is getting higher and higher"....

She's was explaining colour blindness etc a while ago...and one of her diagrams on how eyes work was so far off....

I dont know how she's qualified to teach...
'

*edit*

I've got some entertainment at least, the dude in front of me is on www.dancepartner.com on his laptop...

Now she's explaining how depth perception works....using this as an example:

And now she's talking about "seeing in stereo"

Seems to me that texture and temperature could be covered under the all encompassing "Touch" sense.

For some reason, she's talking about hearing...and she tried to show us the "mosquito" sound, and said "it was very low"...which its not, its high pitched. She didnt even have the right sound, everyone could hear it, even her, and I KNOW I couldnt hear it when I tried to do it myself.

DUDE! YES! My favourite photoshop ever.

For busting out the Huge Manatee, you're now on my permanent good books. I've got tons of respect for anyone who can use that one in a well-timed fashion.

Chewp- Sucks, doens't it? I had this law prof last year who *had* to work radically left wing feminist lesbian politics into every aspect of the Canadian legal system. Plus the sort of dumb stuff that would come out of her mouth had my jaw hanging open. Law classes at Carleton are no fun.

Yup, he actually said that.

... Hm

But we do really see in stereo. The line of sigh of each eye intersect one another, causing stereo-vision, this is why we have depth perseption.
