and ill get his cyclone. its straight off of an a-5 but what i was wondering was is it even possible to put it straight on to 98 custom, and if so, what is involved?

I thing they are a little different. I don't know, I have never seen a cyclone off from the gun. I think it feeds slightly in different areas.

i would call up tippmann... but i think they are basically the same but i have no idea how you can screw in the cyclone because the 98 does have the whole for the cyclone

no in the a5 there is a screw hole that goes threw both recievers and into the cyclone to hold it into place

You need an adapter...you can find it on Tippmannparts under the 98C Upgrade section, very simple add-on though

thanks tippmaina. im pretty clueless when it comes to cyclones. what exactly is involved in installing it?(like tapping any holes, running air lines etc.)
