i'd bet it's the kind of paint, especially at that high ROF. keep in mind that the cyclone does knock around the balls a bit. here's a good test on how fragile the paint is: take about 10 balls, and drop them on the ground from eye level. if more than 7 or 8 bounce, and don't break when they hit the ground, your paint is probably fine. if you break more than 3 or 4, i'd say your paint is too fragile for the cyclone.

Uh.. isn't Dye Proto a Dye "Line" for clothing...? Use Diablo Heat... I use that and have never chopped a ball.. I also when I'm low on money go out and buy RPS Premium, at my local pbstore I can get a 2,000 Case of Diablo Paint for 40$ Has the date made.. and they are never contain evaporated water so there are never dimples.. they are also classified as a "gel-cap" paintball.. quite sturdy

I would say its paint but the cyclone does knock the balls around alot and will break some balls doin that... especially at higher rates of fire teh cyclone turns into a blender

Well looks like I maybe have problem with w.a.s. The light  comes on red when power up now, and even in single fire it is chopin just about every ball. I have tried new bateries.  Switched back to regular grip.  Not a problem as fast as I can pull.

Anybody know why the led would come on redish orange color whenever you power up or shut off?

10 balls from approx. 5'8" dropd on concrete.  all bounced and were fine except 1 cracked.
