I've finally decided to never oil through my bottom-line asa since it makes the gun so messy. So when I do strip it (which is monthly since I rarely play) what should I be oiling? I normally oil the valve o-ring, front bolt o-ring, R\T Seal and... that's basically it... should I be oiling anything else? I also oil the "Hammer" O-Ring

Put a small amount of oil on the moving parts: rear bolt, linkage arm,
and front bolt. And make sure to get oil into the Valve.
When you put a few drops into the ASA, take off the barrel and fire
about 20 shots into a rag. That should clean and oil all the
internal parts, and also get rid of the excess oil.

Tried the last thing you said (This was before I knew how to strip my marker) then when I finally took it apart, the gun was just nasty. I guess do get everything firing thorough the ASA is the most effective way... meh, oh well, thanks Bandit5 I guess I'll go back to oiling it the old fashioned way (ASA Oiling)

One more thing... now that I have an expansion chamber.. is it okay to oil through the asa? I mean the EXP Chamber is MEANT to stop all liquid...so what will happen to the Oil? And will it HURT the X-Core? (I just stripped the gun, dropped one drop of oil into the R\T Hole *leading into the "hammer" and I also dropped a drop of oil INTO the valve opening after taking it out of the powertube.

Ah.. I'm stupid, nevermind... I just remembered that I can simply take out the push pin and pull the expansion chamber out, then just drop oil into the valve opening\powertube itself, slap the X-Core + Tombstone back in, and bam, air it up, dry fire... problem fixed.... Woot.

Thats a good point about the X-core... It might stop the oil getting through... I spose if you disconnect the tombstone and chuck a bit in there and a tiny tiny tiny bit into the asa to get the rest of it (I dunno if thats really nesessary), but if you bypass the x-core then you should be fine.
The bonus of going thru the air system rather than each individual part is that it goes though all the hoses including the cyclone which likes to be oiled too from time to time and gets a nice even coating on everything.

I have been wondering about putting oil in my asa. I guess I should start. I have read alot of posts about it and I know to take the barrel off and dry fire into a rag when I do. But I'm confused about Oiling the r/t. What is the hammer o-ring? do you need to unhook the control valve, tube and fitting that goes into the powertube? Won't putting oil in the asa lubricate the r/t?

It will lubricate the r/t a little I think, but sometimes it needs some extra tlc. I dont unhook nothing, cept the barrel. The oil will go everywhere air does, so you should be able to just chuck some in the ASA and it should get everything.

Thats what I thought. I didn't think it would give the r/t all the love it needed. But I was sure it would give it some. I don't like the idea of breaking the seal of things every time I want to oil. Thats when you end up with leaks am I wrong?

You mean when you unhook the r/t from the valve adjuster? I'm not sure, I have an A5 so basically every time I want to take my grip off it disconnects it. I don't think it hurts it too bad... I hope it doesnt hurt it too bad
I've been doing some minor trigger adjustments recently (bluetack... man thats hightech) to get rid of the wobble, so my grips been off and on alot.
