It's like a French Michael Moore film.

I'll check it out later....the French translation is somewhat annoying though...

Yea.

This isn't like Michael Moore though. They let the people being intervewed do most of the talking. The movie also presents the other side of the argument and the only real bias in it is that they show more people against Bush being interviewed than people for Bush.

I just thought it was interesting to watch. Hasn't really changed my opinions because I don't pay much attention to politics.

Good thing your opinion does not count for anything because you are unintelligent.

Look Micheal Moore tends to overexagerate and pick and choose what he wants in his film. In bowling for columbine the whole being able to pick up a rifle after opening a bank account is a crock, you don't get it the day you open the account. They showed him walking out of the door with it you say? I say bs. That footage was probebly taken a few days later after he opened the account, him in the same clothes as before don't believe me? He was the only one in the shot and the weather in some places can be quite the same for a few days. You need to go over everything with a fine comb and not believe the bs that someone spoon feeds you. I don't think a friggen bank would hand you a rifle without doing a backround check with the information given to them when you opened the account. Funny what people can do with cameras and an assload of free time, Moore is a joke so is Bush end of conversation.

It's truely not about being cool, at least for me. I personally hate people who hate bush just because it's the "in" thing to do as much as I hate people who blindly follow him and his idiot administration....

Because Moore doesn't really make true documentaries. I've seen Fahrenheit 9-11 before in a film analysis class.  Basically, it would have been a much more effective film if Moore didn't focus so much on the whole Bush - Bin Laden family conspiracy and drawing somewhat wild conclusions.

Anyone can make someone look bad or good by using selective editing techniques.

I'm definately not a Bush supporter or anything. I'm just saying that if you're going to make a documentary, don't fill it with conspiracy theories, and statements that are meant to play on people's emotions instead of factual evidence.

This is true. He did do a little too much with the whole family ties thing but, ya know, the connections are there. Plus, there was a lot there besides that, that made some very powerful points.

One guard controlling 20 miles of our northern, coastal, boarder in a post 9/11 world....idiocy...

edit: Carl, I know man, just commenting....but, ya know, I haven't really seen too many here that aren't like us....

Exactly. It would have helped his cause much more if he didn't elaborate on them nearly as much as he did in the film.  He should have just made the connections clear and just left it at that.
