I'm just asking for any reviews or news about this magical bolt on AV.com.  It's by a German Manufacturer I'm guessing.  Of course I'm talking about the Orange Howitzer Bolt for the 98c.  With the special ingredient Polyoxymethyl or POM.....what ever that means...  So, just hit me back and tell me what you think of it, or if you've used it and like it.

It's a new type of plastic, basically it's supposed to be the next-gen Derlin Front-Bolt.. it's not a cheap piece of plastic that's for sure, Derlin rocks and what they are useing is supposed to be a little bit stronger...however I already have a JCS Hexagon Derlin Bolt so I won't be buying it. You can get a JCS Hexagon Derlin Bolt for like 7$ off their website...

Interesting to say the least that it's just Derlin with a more expensive name.  I did use a search Carl and I came up with nada.. so, I guess I don't care, because I made my own thread.  Currently JCS is not operational, so is there another website in which I can look at this magical Hexagon Derlin Bolt for 7 bones ($)?

Side note:  All depend boloman...But I've become quite trusting of some after market bolts.  My Superfly is almost worn out now because of a boo boo I made when putting my gun back together.  But I could tell a real difference with the flight and accuracy of my shots.

First off, JCS's website is NOT down at all...and lemme get you the link hold up, http://www.bp-usa.com/a_5.htm - http://www.bp-usa.com/a_5.html
Seems they also upped the price, it's now $13.50.. still the cheapest Derlin bolt out there and EVERYONE knows, JCS stuff really does WORK.

in all honesty, i don't think the bolt makes a difference in accuracy.  my sheradon pgp doesn't have a fancy hexagonal bolt, and it never will.  it's still hella accurate though...

why don't they just make a delron bolt without any weird shapes...  i think the supaflys are pretty good design though, becuase they don't restrict airflow...  but they're said to be hit or miss, and i can't take my chances on a miss.

O.K was a little confused at first, why go from a plastic bolt to new plastic bolt? But I have researched this and what I have found is that Derlin is the ideal resin to use for a bolt in a paintball gun! It's high impact, resistant to oil, wear and has teflon for lubrication in the polymer when it is extruded into the mold. Also can endure high and low temps. Might have to get one of them!

Why from from a plastic bolt to a NEW plastic bolt? As you said, the NEW plastic bolt is a higher-grade, self-lubricating, stronger plastic. DOH!

i think what he is saying is the stock one is plastic and the after market stuff is plastic... but the after market stuff has all those other things that make it better then stock

I'm thinking about getting the Howitzer heavily.  I don't think this hexadecagon bolt is worth it though.  Granted you've had success with it Mr.47 but, I just think the edges are a bit excessive in planning an advancement of a part.  All that it would do in my mind is lower the weight by a gram or two.  I like the idea of the Oring on the inside of the Howitzer, a better seal.  And not only that....it's orange tipped!

LOL! That seal isn't going to do anything, look at how deep it is in the bolt, that's just like the Superfly bolt.. that second o-ring does NOTHING.
