I have a 98 custom and I'm gonna install a Palmer stabilizer. I'm not sure which type to get. I was thinking of getting the in line  and putting it on my remote tank and leaving the tippmann x- chamber in place but Palmer said I should remove the x-chamber. They said I could get the A-5 stabilizer kit and use my vertical adapter but it seems like the line would be in the way. Anyone have any ideas of which type I should install? Do I need to remove my x-chamber ??

 Thanks for any help

Steve

Having both the x-chamber and the palmers is kinda useless. Get rid of the x-chamber and do as the man says. The line should run to your ASA from the vert mount no problems. The line might be in your hands way possibly as a front grip, you could chuck a second oring in so that it has the line off to the right and not in the way. You could run it from your remote but still remove the x-chamber.

Get a male and use it in place of the x-chamber.

Time to go Macro. I really don't see why people use braided lines...Macro is so much better, and now you can get ones that can withstand up to 2,200 PSI (THEY WILL NEVER BREAK), just buy a foot long, cut it to what you need....If you have enough money for the Palmer, throw in a macro kit for what? $20?

Im assuming you use CO2, I would stick with steel braided hose until you switch to HPA. CO2 can make a macro line brittle.

Not quite.. I am right now useing Macro-Line on my A-5 but I do have an X-Core AND Anti-Siphon C02 (Whoever says C02 can't be as good as HPA needs to be glove-slapped, I can prove it's as just as good!) I have no problems and I am useing the regular HPA (850PSI) one. The only reason C02 normally breaks\cracks Macroline hoses is because the PSI amount can go up and down rapidly, by that I mean it could go up to 1,000.. which normal macrolines can't handle, that's why there are NEW macro-lines out that can stand up to 2,200 PSI (C02 will NEVER go that high so it'll never break) Either way, I would recommend getting your tank anti-siphoned like I did, but you don't have too.

What about the palmer kit for the 98 custom?  I guess my factory braided hose would work with that setup.

Do they work better mounted vertical . If so I can get the male and replace my tippmann x-chamber with that and go with the macrohose.

Where do you get the 2000psi macrohose from? the most I can find is 1000 psi
