I recently bought the C3, on my second trip out to paintball I found tha the ignition no longer works. Pull the trigger and nothing. Replaced the batteries and still nothing, inspected all of the connections and still nothing. This is the second gun I have held in my hand and had these issues.. Has anyone else experienced this? Jeff

i don't mean to be negative, but with the relative rarity of this gun you would be way better off calling tippmann tech support than posting here.

Still waiting on a response from Tech support.

Tippmann is sending me out an entire new electronics package so that I can repair the gun myself. I hope it works, I'll let everyone who cares know in a week when the parts get here... Tech Support is extremely reasonable and easy to deal with on the phone, props to them. A very happy customer..

Almost all the ignition problems we hear about end up being fuel mix issues.  If the new electronics package doesn't help, simply try readjusting the fuel mix per the manual.

Let us know how this works out.

I would lean towards that too, however, there isn't any ignition to ignite the fuel and air, no spark.. I am guessing they had a shippment of faulting parts that they used without knowing or I just have had the misfortune of getting the 2 guns out of the entire batch that were flawed...

There should be atleast a "Click" sound (Ignitor flickering) fuel-mixture would not cause it to not *Click*, you didn't oil through your asa did you..? That can cause the spark-plug to mess up... and other things... just don't oil through your asa on a C-3

Actually I used it once, never oiled, never any maintenance. WHen I was finished using it the first day, I cleaned the gun with a dry towel, removed the hopper, removed the propane tank, and cleaned the barrall with the dry cleaner thing...

There is absolutely, no clicking, no sound what so ever. Having only adjusted the velocity, the fuel/air ratio is stil set from factory. Like I said before, the problem lies in the ignition modual or the circuit boards..

Well, time to blame Tippmann then, replaceing the ignition and circuit board should be easy though.. good luck

It WORKS! I recieved the parts today, installed them and it works.... Just hope it works for awhile longer this time... There were slight differences in wire lengths and one of the parts had different markings on it, which means it could be made by a different manufacturer or possibly just a different part... Anyways, all excited it seems to be fixed so far...
