Check out the underground mod shop for a barrel.  They have 98 flatlilines in an A 5 shroud and will attach to the A 5.

I cant help u out with chicago but im sure you can find the info ur lookin for by doin a quick search on the net.

Funny thing is, you're the only one saying this.

all you'd need is an a5-98 barrel adaptor, but then again, you'd need to find a shroud to fit, otherwise it'll look pretty funky

Go to Tippmannparts.com and get the a5 flat line front bracket and rear bracket, then get a piece of 1-3/4" pvc and cut to the length you want. you will have to grind/polish out to ends to make the brackets fit. You will also have to grind/polish out the inside about 2-1/2" in from the front bracket because the 98 flat line has more curve than the a5 barrel and will not slide thru the pvc pipe with out rubbing/ actually bending the pipe. If you get it mounted rught it will actually shoot farther/better than the a5 barrel, but not quite as far as the apex. The apex is cheaper to buy also, and has more adjustments. But your choice.

Action Village is just a little north of chicago, and there is also "Bad Boys Sports" and "Warped Sports" in Merriville,Ind. about 35/40 miles south of chicago.
