I love playing free and messing around. Every turn my friend went all in. He racked in over 100,000 on pure luck. Lost it as soon as he reached his mark. I was rolling because so many people were typing "Oh, he is so bluffing, I'ma call you" and then lost. -------------

NO, congress made it illegal for banks to recieve or give money to online gambling sites... all the site has to do is set up its own bank basically or make a credit card for it and your back *edit* i heard that you can no longer cash out also so your money is stuck or atleast thats what i heard about at partypoker ------------- Tuesday starts the weekend... The accounts are still available (at least per the PP announcement). I just can't place any new bets. I'm actually surprised they blocked access entirely. The way I understood the new rule, it wouldn't actually prohibit the bets, but only the transfer of the money to the sites. There are so many things wrong with this law, from its substance to the method of enactment and all points inbetween. I disliked Frist before - now I really dislike him. |

Yeah, many sites are still up, and Pokerstars is apparently almost as soft as Party. I may have to move over if nothing changes at Party. Moving money to these sites is a real pain as it is, however, and I don't want to switch if I don't have to. So for now I am practicing Omaha and 7-Stud with play money, which I needed to do anyway.

Well, after two days of playing free Omaha, I seriously question the learning value. Most people aren't even trying (or they are complete idiots). Well, I broke down and opened a Pokerstars account. Only playing free money Omaha so far. Will probably cash up shortly. Don't like the interface or animation. Ugh. Guess I'll get used to it. The good news is that the free play is tougher, so it's better practice. The bad news is that the free play is tougher, so the real play might also be tougher. They have tables all the way down to pennypoker, which spells doom for "normal" low-stakes play, since the serious idiots will migrate further down. I miss PP already. *sigh* |
