I'm investigating options for increasing fire rate on my recently purchased 98 custom (serial# 046103 ACT).  I'm exclusively a woodsball player.  It appears the primary options are:

1. e-grip

2. e-bolt

3. response trigger

I'm leaning towards the response trigger (with cyclone feeder) because there are no batteries involved, no worries about rain, etc. The e-bolt sounds interesting because it apparently quiets the gun.  I don't know how difficult it would be to install in a newer 98c. E-bolts also appear to be relatively rare. My son (also has a 98c) is leaning towards an e-grip.

Any thoughts/considerations that should be taken into account in choosing an upgrade?

Also... on the response trigger/cyclone... my understanding is that a T-connector is required for delivering air to both subsystems. Assuming this is true, from where is this part acquired?

Thanks!

You can only use an E-Bolt if you have the older style 98c's, and the E-Grip only with the newer ones.

correct me if iam wrong but the egrip only fits the custom pro ?

ive got an rt but id prefer dads a5 with egrip since its consitant. you set it 3 shot, you get 3 shot... its not exactly the same for the rt, but its still a great mod since their arnt bateries involved...

as for noise, its fun, makes it real...

in that case if u want an egrip ... get rampage.. best bang for your buck $104 bought me everything i need including tax and 3 day shipping.... tippmannparts.com you need the rampage with the included solenoid and a bag o parts for e grips just if u decide on a grip go for it but make sure u have the type that can use the e grip but rampage is lots lots better
