I've seen the posts about replacing the drive spring to help with velocity spikes/consistency.  After searching I've found springs with varying strengths from low to high.  So how do you determine which spring you need to put in?  I have a collapsible stock so getting a rear velocity adjustor is out of the question and I don't want to put BBs in behind the guide pin as that doesn't sound like a great way to help.

the chrono will tell you which spring is the right one.

start with one barely heaveir than stock, chrono, and try a different one based on your results.  Lighter spring for less velocity, heaveir for more.

Just buy the maddman spring kit.. If you already have the springs, they should have instructions telling you which ones stronger or weaker. It's color coded for the maddman spring kit.

Figured it would end up being trial and error with a Chrono.  Thought that there was an off chance that someone here cracked the code.

well, most people say they use the heaviest spring with stocks, so try that first.
