Just ran across this on TAG Sportz. It is for an Ion, but is complete with a solenoid. The trigger switch will have to be worked around (at the top of the picture). Add any of several air rams on the market and away you go.

Actually, I dunno about this one.  The problem is that with an ebolt, you'd be at the upper limit of this solenoids operating range and, it may not have the necessary flow rate.

Another option (but, it may suffer from the same limitations) is the Lucky Stage 4 + MAC Solenoid.  The MAC solenoid used in this kit has been designed for a better flow rate (5x), faster cycling and, a longer battery life.

Adjustment of dwell may overcome flow rate.

Thanks, but I have several myself and will probably not make this. I am still trying to find a way to up the ROF on the GTA board. A while back someone offered to show me how to make the mod. Then he wanted me to send my board to him for him to make the mod. Never received any follow-up.

Makes little difference right now. My son is involved as statistical record keeper for the school's girl varsity volleyball team. Has to attend all games and practices. We have gone from once a week paintball to no play for 2.5 months now. I am having withdrawal jitters.

I might have missed the reason for this post but you guys do know that we
are almost ready to release our tippmann board...LOL Don't tell anyone

Is there a certain reason you guys need something other than one that will
fit into the grip? Maybe something more custom?

OK, Bob, I don't know all the players so who are you, what is your company and what is this Tippmann board?

Never Mind! I did a search and see that you are TAG Sportz. But, I can find nothing about a Tippmann board (a search function on the web page would be nice). Tell me about it, PLEASE!!!

My only beef with that board/noid, is its $160. Wowzers. Might as well buy and all new ebolt for alittle extra.

Ive got a board designed that will cost roughly $5, but im too lazy to write down how I did it. Plus Ive started a new project of learning to play the ukulele <---fun stuff right there.

I say all that but you can get a cylinder for about $20, plus a reg. So this will put someone around the $210 dollar mark if they were going to go all out.

Well, so much for having to figure out how to modify the GTA E-Bolt board for a higher ROF. My wife and son ordered a Cheetah board for my Halo B way back in June for a late birthday present(turned into a VERY late present). TAG sort of misplaced the order, or was waiting for upgrades or something. To make up for my inconvenience they sent an additional board...a DM4/5 board that I can easily adapt to replace the GTA board in my 98C. Guess it was worth the wait!!!
