Apparently "Mr. Bush" isnt the president. He is just "Mr. Bush" not President Bush.
Damn, that guy lost his mind on that one too. Easily biggest rant ever recorded.
Do you think the President will grant him an interview anytime soon?

Maybe it was a rant, but at least it was an intelligent rant.

That gave me chills. All it a rant or whatever. Look deep, think hard, and see beyond the political haze. What that man said was 100% true and every American should hear that and understand where our nation is today....

That guy new what he was talking about. I've said it for years now, we're going down just like rome. How funny it seems that my father's generation was taught to uphold and defend our constitution, while ours are being taught to ignore it, I wonder if our children will be taught to demolish it?

Sorry for double posting but isn't this really reminiscent of good night and good luck? And I'm suprised he didn't mention the mcarthy witch hunts, I know he wasn't president but still he held fear power over a lot of people.

ugh i say it all the time, im all for rants, because everybody should, and he makes some decent points, but could anybody who complains so much do a better job than the president at his job? All of the pressures he has to go through, ridicule, if anybody thinks they can do a better job under all the pressure, step the hell up, stop complaining and do something about it instead of ranting all the time. Yes, I see the irony that my post is a rant.

Now see the problem with that is what can olbermann do to "step up"? Answer, he can get on live television and rant. He leaves it up to us to take action, what can we do? Not elect another like bush into office. I think that in 08 we're going to see a republican hit, I really do.

Human nature is not to blame, parties arn't to blame, he's got it all wrong. Ignorance is, republican, democrat it really doesn't matter but we are electing the same asshats into office every four years, each one suiting their own needs and aspirations for this country. We need to realize that the situation will not improve if we stand idlely by and watch it all unfold, and I feel that that is what olbermann was trying to get at.

Oh yes I see that now and yeah you're probebly right there. I know that I would try not to. The big problem is that most kids of our age group are being taught to ignore, destroy the constitution anyway so yeah the next presidents will do the same crap as Bush.

Actually, I think/hope that enough people are noticing the over reach that Bush Co. is pushing. I really don't think that most people think it's ok to suspend habieus corpus like this, it just that most don't understand that it's happening. They spin the things they do as to not make it sound like they're trampling the consitution like they are. If more people saw it for what it is, more would be upset. I think the respect for the Constitution is still there really. Actually, I'm a little bit optomistic on this point, just because it's only take a few years for people to realize how out of hand this crap has gotten and that so many are so upset about it. In the fifties most of the population was behind MacCarthy and his nazis and stood behind all of the things that we see as so wrong today. It took a decade and a half for much resistance to come about, and even then it wasn't focused on the domestic idiocy that was going on as much as it should have been. I think that the people, as a whole, have had enough and, assuming that nothing happens to push us back into post-9/11 histeria and patriotic blindness, I think things will change and the future may be pretty bright.
