Heres my problem:
Screw the RT screw in all the way, gas the gun up
Shoot once, shouldnt be able to shoot again...good indication that the RT works..Right?
Un-screw it to about the half way point. Shoot...nothing happens, trigger pull is still very hard.
I take my thumb and push down on the RT screw, it lets out a small *hiss* of air, with my thumb on the RT screw, I shoot, works GREAT, shoots really fast.
I take my thumb off the screw, pressure comes back in and I cant pull the trigger.
Any thoughts?

As unlikely as it sounds,,, it sounds like your CVX valve is being held open keeping pressure on your RT line .

That is , if I understand how it works correctly . The RT is supposed to work off of  "Excess gas" used to cycle your rear bolt (AKA Hammer) and the line that supplies pressure to operate it sould recieve only momentary pressure when the rear bolt opens the CVX valve . You should not be having pressure on that screw constantly , double check your installation .

I take it the CVX valve is the thing u adjust? I double checked everything and it looks like its all installed right.

No,, the CVX valve is what lets out the Puff of gas when the hammer ir released and it travels forward . The CVX valve is internal and not adjustable , however it is what supplies gas to the RT valve you are referring to .

This shows a 98 without the RT installed , and the location of the CVX valve , your gas line to power the RT attaches to the CVX valve on the side not shown , near the rear of the black plastic housing , just below and behind the two screws that hold the CVX valve to the reciever ,  correct ?

if it was the cvx valve, air would be coming out of the barrel too.
that little adjustable valve is a "meter out" flow control valve
that means the adjustment screw controls how fast air flows back out of the cylinder, but doesn't affect the air going in.
every time you fire the piston gets charged, and you should be able to adjust the speed at which it flows out (trigger pull). i guess that if you can't, your f/c valve is bad.
