| when i fire my gun the hammer some times just keeps firing and will not stop unless stop it with my hand. any ideas on how to fix it? |

| What gun do you have? If you have a 98ACT Check the news section on the home page. I have posted many times about the sear spring update. Also do you use CO2? Check to make sure your tank isn't getting low. |

Check to see if your sear/rear bolt are worn down. If they are worn, replace. Also make sure that the valve screws on the side of the marker are tight. -------------

| I have a 98 custom with an expansion chamber and a response trigger. The response trigger has been disconnected. It happens mostly when the co2 tank is full. The internals have been cleaned and oiled. The marker is not very old maybe 6 months. I just tried replacing most of the o-rings and one of the springs for the trigger but have not tested it yet. Thank for the help so far any more suggestion will be great |

Do you have a stock or an RVA? Have you changed out any of the springs recently, or added a straw mod or other trigger mods? what do you mean stock or ARV? I only have the 2 mods, listed above, i change the shear spring in hope of fixing the problem but i have not tested it since then. |

Have you read about the sear spring update yet? If your gun left the factory with a bad one, it's likely the sear is worn from use with the R/T. If your serial number falls in the range, they will send all the new parts to fix ( new sear, rear bolt, new updated spring, and o-rings) for free! Again look for 98 custom service update in the news section on the homepage. Or call Tippmann. Yeah i just read the about that today and it sound like the problem. Thank everyone for the help |
