Im still deciding whether or not to purchase the tippmann A5. After reading many happy reviews, i wanted to read the worst rating reviews. I did this because I wanted to see what was the common problem. Mostly the cyclone chopping paintballs. One review i came across mentioned that if you have an A stamped on the bottom of the cyclone then your fine. Is this correct? Has anyone come across this before? Is this described anywhere on the tippmann website?

It is not described on the website anywhere. Anyway if you dont have the "A" you can mail it in and have it replaced for free. I have a 98 w/ cyclone and it suits me fine......

That's an old upgrade: The one I got in early 04 had an A. So it's probably not on the site anymore because it's a non-issue now.
