Looks good to me. I bet it's gonna be just as annoying as the Ion after a while though.

I dunno. I'd like to revise my statement. The $4c price tag might deter the onslaught of newbs who want cheap electros. It may be a decent thing yet...

MSRP is $4c. I'm guessing Action Village will probably sell them ~$350.

Oh yeah. UL Frames will be available for the PMRs (Proto Matrix Rail), because that trigger looks crappy.

People say that the Ion trigger sucks too but I found it very easy to cap the board.

Common guys the trigger MATCHES the grip.  What more could you want?  Seriously though the trigger actually looks perfectly functional.  The angle is right and there's tons of room between it and the guard.

This gun looks complete other than the asa may not be on/off.

Looks awesome. I dont think we'll see an uprise in them, especially via n00bs. Looks like a well constructed gun. Hopefully I 'll get to shoot one at the field soon.

I just got done reading a bunch of garbage at PBN about the new proto.  I just reminded myself why I don't frequent PBN.  "Dude if it's $300.00 it will suck.  Dude if it costs $500.00 it will be a better gun."

PBN has a problem with marketing tactics, and anything that needs more than superficial thinking.

edit: only asks why one places oneself a pm7 or a dm7 now to buy should. think

^from pbhub.de translated.  Very interesting point.

I love this shift in pricing.  It's what the market needs in order to grow/stay alive.  Even being "cheap" at $300.00 you can buy an actual and very nice rifle for that money.

On the homepage of pbhub there's a thumbnail of the eleven.  I thought you got the proto pic there.  You need a member ship to get the pic.

really it seems to me like their making a step in the same direction smart parts did...though im curious how performance has been lowerd on this version, and if it is going to be able to be upgraded highly...

You can change the feedneck, reg, barrel, and you can UL it and put on a new trigger. What other ups do you need?

seems nice...though im not diggin the grip, not the UL grips...i never liked 45s too much...i like 90s...keeps the grip more so out of my way...and sets the tank forward more...but im liking it over all...brings more of a diversity to the market...now ion wont be alone...

If the rubber stuff can be removed you should be able to dye it black.  The grey rubber stuff is my only dislike.

Looks good to me.  The downgrade in body construction quality is apparent, but its $400 so hey, whatever.  It brings more to the market as well, so it's a good thing.  I just hope if it becomes popular, its for a good reason, and not just because everyone and the uncle owns one.

me sells impulse and buys one .....

it does look good but i doubt it will have any real impact on the ion selling rate bc its twice the price. also idk how well it will do with new markers, like the invert mini, coming out and only being msrp at $450. (and the new rumored SP "epiphany", an all metal better ion based platform marker that is rumored to be 300-500 dollar range). personally i think the only thing that it has going for it is a name brand.
