Here's a fellow team player's A5. Stock a5 right now but an egrip will be added as soon as Tippmann fixes the board. 21" CMI rifled barrel, tac cap, tiger strip paint job, red dot sight and an old army stock cut out to fit. The notch in the stock allows good sighting with your mask on. It's a lot lighter than it looks too.

Good luck actually playing like a sniper. But unique design with the stock and the cool paintjob. It's nice to look at, probably not nice to play with.

I like it alot.  Is the stock/foregrip connected, or is it separated?  You should post this over at the Underground Mod Shop forum.  People will actually appreciate it there.

Looks pretty cool. I dont like the gloss black bipod though. Isnt the Egrip overkill for a "sniper"? I'm not a big fan of the notch in the stock above the safety, but that's just me being nit-picky.

Pumpker'd; (V.) When a pump player runs up and shoots you at point blank range because you thought 20bps made you good.

to shoot at individuals as opportunity offers from a concealed or distant
position: The enemy was sniping from the roofs.

a shot, usually from a hidden position.
definition of sniper doesnt say anything about shooting over a long
distance just from a hidden position aka could be 50 feet away and
shoots you without you knowing it was them and that would be
considered a snipe shot so technicaly he would be a sniper

my mistake can be from a distant position but doesnt have to be

The bipod was just put on for the pictures. Even a "sniper" can get into a fire fight, so the egrip would come in handy. He only uses the tac cap for night games when you don't really need a lot of bps. It shoots far enough, and he does have an apex barrel if he needs more distance.

yes that would be a designated marksman not a sniper also snipers came
about around ww1 and 2 and did not have the greatest weapons or
sights/scopes meaning that they had to take much closer shots then our
snipers do today

Snipers don’t exist in speed ball

But they exist in Woods ball/scenario games.  Sniping (sneaking around with out being seen and getting one shot eliminations) really only works when you have lots of time to set up ambushes and wait for your opponent.  Some speed balers don’t like this and let everybody know by saying something immature and retarded.  Please just remember sniping is just one way of playing paintball you can take it or leave it but saying it doesn’t exist is just stupid.

“I bet it shoots reeeeaaaaal far…”
Actually I read some ware that rifled barrels shoot a little further than smooth bore because the round is spinning and for some reason has less air friction thus increasing range.  I don’t know if this is true nor to I completely remember the article so I may be wrong but I though I might through at out there.

I guess your remark shows us how much you really know about pb markers and physics<sp?. A paintball with a velocity of 280 fps will fly just as far from a 7"or 8" long barrel as a paintball from a barrel 21" long. It will use a little more air/co2 to reach the same fps but will fly the same distance. But you really knew that right??

I think he was reffering to the gun looking like a sniper rifle, not that he is actually a sniper. dumbasses.

Actually the first "snipers" date back to the U.S. Civil War in the mid 1800's. These people would usually scout ahead, flank the enemy and take out higher ranking enemy soldiers, they didn't have scopes back then, but they did modify their weapons by putting magnifying lenses on them (similar to a modern reflexive sight, except much more ghetto). But they didn't make a very large impact on the war or anything so thats why most people never hear about snipers in the U.S. Civil War. According to wikipedia snipers have been around since 1824, but I was just using the Civil War as an example because I knew more info about it. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sniper - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sniper

So how many people has he picked off past 120 feet?

Look good, cutting above the grip area could have been smoother, nice looking though.  Its different then other milsims I've seen.  Has to be a gas hog with that barrel though.  Bet its not fun playing with a gun over three feet long.
