Is it worth the time and money to by and expansion chamber?? I know what its for, but I'm not sure if theres much of a point to buying one.

Ive got a 98 Custom, and am planing on a response trigger. I want to know if an expansion chamber would be worth it for woodsball.

if it's like $20, it's worth it.  A palmers or air would be much better though.

Definately worth it unless you plan on getting HPA soon.

I would spend more money on a regulator like a palmers or cp.

It is a great buy but now I wished I would have gotten a palmers instead. But the expansion chamber is still a really good idea.

a possible sub is a remote system. However, I am not saying YOU should get one. I personally hate a tank being attached to my gun, so for me getting a remote was awesome because it gets rid of that weight, AND it works like kinda like a expansion chamber due to the large amounts of space the Co2 has while going through the remote coil.

the reason I say it may not be for you is some people actually like the tank being on their gun, and use it almost as a stock, resting the tank in the crook of the elbow as a means to steady their gun. that is the point of drop forwards, getting the tank you have to just the correct possition to rest stedly in the crook of the elbow for the best support.

all that being said, if you like the tank being there for support and to steady the gun, go for an expansion chamber.
If your like me and find your tank gets to much in the way and want to lighten the weight of your gun, go with the remote. personally I have no problems with needing to steady my A-5 and dealing with the kickback. and I hate the extra weight of the tank so a remote system was perfect for me.

if you don't have the $$$ for a regulator, an expansion chamber would work for what you want it to do.
