Special Ops Paintball and Stiffi (Site Manufacturing Inc.,) have teamed up to bring you one of the best paintball gun barrels on the market. The Blackcell barrels are extremely strong, super quiet, lightweight, and are available in black and olive drab colors. The C-Series barrels are made with an ultra-smooth fiberglass compound center (known as e-glass) to further enhance accuracy, and also feature a carbon-wrapped and Kevlar construction for optimum strength and rigidity.

Featuring killer looks, durability and top performance, the Blackcell C-Series barrels are among the best barrels in the industry today. Eight barrel tips are also available for the Blackcell C-Series barrels.

sounds like a mix of a j&j and a stiffi. cool kevlar.

i like the idea for the millsim tips.

Kevlar...

I think the tips are pretty useless. When the barrel can stop a bullet, I'll believe it's Kevlar.

Kevlar? Sounds like a gimmick...

If stiffi's old barrels are made of carbon fiber, why cant this be made of kevlar

Haha and the barrel would have to be as thick as the flatline to stop a bullet even if it was made from kevlar.

but why would you make a paintball barrel out of kevlar?

coming from spec ops i wouldve expected a kevlar vest mabye, but not a barrel

Just because something is made of Kevlar doesn't make it bulletproof.

Why use kevlar? Carl basically said it.

Same reason my 'mechanics' gloves are made with kevlar (not entirely). My kneepads are also Kevlar reinforced. Same reason why the sidewalls of several auto tires out there are reinforced with kevlar.
Kevlar is just a fabric... it's not a mystical bullet stopper, nor is it limited for use in armor.

That said... I won't disagree that the use of Kevlar is just a marketing gimmick , but whatever. I'm sure it's nice, lightweight and strong, and therefore effective. It just sounds cooler that it's got Kevlar components.

sounds like another gimmic. The tiups are also useless. The best conventional barrels out there are still the lapco bigh shot and J&J ceramic.

I would buy it if it were avalible in 98c threads. If its avalible one day in my threads, and it has the same performace as a regular stiffi ill buy it

You told people not to bash something because "you" liked it. What do you expect?

There is no reason I can think of that these would be any lower performance than a regular Stiffi barrel. The barrels themselves are made by Site Manufactoring and we made the backs and the tips.

So, what you are saying is that there is no difference performance wise between the two barrels? And if you made the backs, will they be available in 98c threads, and if they are, when?

Currently we have A5 threads. 98, cocker, and impulse threads will be available in the next 2-3 weeks.

As for the name...that just means you have a GREAT last name!

Thanks lol

Anyway, There is no difference between the two? I just want to make sure before I order this, Because I want a Stiffi but I would rather have it in black. I just do not want to waste $58 when for $42 more I know I wont be going wrong....

I don't want to say that there's no difference....since I don't know for sure when Site started manufacturing Stiffi's using the E-glass....but it's even lighter and smoother than the carbon fiber and other-wise built to the same standards as their other barrels.

And will kits be available at any time in the near future? Or even pre-orders for kits or 98c threaded SOCs?
