Basically, have all new barrels be threaded on the outside at the last couple inches or so, so one could screw on a barrel plug. Sililar to a silencer. It would be the safest thing next to unscrewing the air tank (Or being responsible). I wouldnt like it, you wouldnt like it, but the saftey world would LOVE it.

not really couple inches more like half an inch

it would work great but you would have to make the end a bit thicker, to account for the threading so it doesn't hit the ball and break or lose accuracy

can you say fugly?  And altough it is smart, i dont see what makes it all that better than a barrel condom or standard plug.  They both do the job well now.  Dont fix what isnt broken.

not really on barrel plugs

they are shot out of gun way too easy

especially if you have a fully auto or a sensitive trigger

well actually special ops just released that barrel with the interchangeable millsim tips. maybe they could make a tip that would support this.

Barrel plugs dont work all the time.

And barrel socks only work if you are not retarded.

I never use anything other than my saftey, and it was just an idea.

Does it make you feel special posting barrel socks or something? Do you want a cookie?

the place I play at says If you forget to put on the barrel condom you get 2 warnings. the 3rd you get kicked out for the day, no refund. I really understand. It could blind or kill someone.

I think people would hate carrying a thick piece of metal in their pocket compared to a sock. And people wouldn't put them on because it would be such a hassle.
