Hi Everyone. I have seen a couple places online where I could get an E-bolt pretty cheap. However, my problem is this particular one is by Psycho-Ballistics, not Tippmann.

What I want to know is if these are any good, on PBnation there are quite a few bad reviews on it, but Im not sure why it would be that much lower for this one than the other E-bolt. is the Psycho-ballistic E-bolt not as good? there were two different people complaining that they had major problems with consistancy.....

so basicly Im asking you all, would it be worth my $120ish to take a gamble on it? over all, alot liked it but those two guys gave dead bottom reviews for it bringing it all the way down to a 7.4/10 rating on it. do you guys think these two are good sources? or just people who didnt understand how E-bolts work and put them together wrong?

Actually, its prolly one of the better e-bolts made... and i think they were also set up to run 2-way for more efficient/faster cycling

i dont know for sure tho, some one else will

id say go for it

I'm pretty sure it's a one way ram. It is for the m98 (before the 98 custom) only, but will fit into the 98c if you mill it. The PB kit came out first, and if I'm not mistaken, Tippmann bought the rights to manufacture it. Enter the GTA kit. But yeah, they are cheaper because less markers can use them.

link is

as for the info you all gave, thanks

How much milling would it require? and what would need to be done? Would all the milling be in the grip frame? or would I have to mess with some other stuff as well to get the E-bolt to fit? with the milling required would I still be able to swap back to a mech system if this fails?
And just how hard would the required milling be? I dont have alot of the really fancy tools some use for milling, I often just use sandpaper, steel wool, and a file. would these work for the required milling? I am fine with spending alot of time doing it by hand with the basic tools, but I just want to make sure it IS possible to do it that way.

thanks everyone

And please note that this is the Psycho-ballistics eM98 kit,
NOT
the Ballistic Sports Electro-pneumatic kit

yeah I know its stupid to say where I found them because someone else might buy out from under me, but thats fine, go ahead if you want, wouldnt be the first time a E-bolt sliped through my fingers. and honestly I can wait so if they are gone thats fine anyways.

but I found them using a search engine under paintball eM98,
the one place is Doropaintball.com the specific link the the E-bolt is
http://www.doropaintball.com/AB1038101Equick/html/p8664.htm - http://www.doropaintball.com/AB1038101Equick/html/p8664.htm

not sure how many they got or if they even have any at all, I just know they got um listed at only 150$ they might be "backordered" for all I know. at anyrate......... if you like it go for it dont let me hold you from getting it.I couldnt use one to it full potential yet anyways since I havent got HPA yet.

dont use co2 with it. trust me, its not a good idea. mine broke

oh and by the way, i was the one who modded my 98c to fit the m98 PB ebolt in it. not that hard, but you have to be good with a dremel. i wrote a tutorial somewhere with pics and everything, try searching

EDIT: heres a link to the tutorial i wrote (the hyperlink buton wont work...)
