Man me and my freind were just talkin about paintball today at work, and we thought up the idea of a realistic looking paintball revolver pistol. IT actually wouldnt even be that hard to make. Place a co2 cartridge at back and have a paintball loaded into each slot on revolver. Then make co2 also rotate the middle section after each shot. I think that some company should create this, theyd make a hell of a lot ofmoney.

Incorrectness. Many scenarios host pistol competitions. They are quite fun.

Hey, if there's a need, fill it. Not to mention, they are great for duels. Maybe in tourney play, pistols are kinda useless, but you can always find a creative use for the little buggers.

Wrong.

In the hands of a good player, pistols are great.

One game I ditched my ariakon, grabbed just my pistol, sprinted around the far flank of the field and came up behind the enemy team well before they expected anyone to have possibly gotten near their position. It was a three on three and I took all three out. Pistols can be good for travelling light.

It is so much easier to move with just a pistol. I used to have a PT extreme (which was a lot of work to keep working by the way, which is why I no longer have it.) One game on defense I had an air source problem with my primary marker so I dumped everthing under a bush except for my PT and a 10 round tube I shoved in a pocket and started crawling. It took a while because I had to stay low since the only cover was 8 inches of grass. I managed to get out past this fallen tree, then circle behind it to get behind 4 members of the other team taking cover in a dry creek bed. I took a deep breath, popped up behind them and immediately got lit up by my own team who thought I was just another attacker. (Note to self: Notify teammates before sneaking up on enemy in the future.) It was still a good move that I couldn't have done with all of my other equipment though.

I did something like that. the field was an old baseball field w/the some of the back fence cut out + some wooded area behind it. I crawled up along the fence using about a foot of weeds as cover. I got to the opening behind a 55 gal drum I looked for some of my team to cover me. they were nowhere around. except for the guy dancing around the field (no really! he was dancing!) I didnt stay there long. the other team finaly realized I was there. I was mowed!

I learned to tell your team what your doing that day.

Assuming you mean paintball scenarios, the answer would be no. The 6mm airsoft paintball round is not capable of making a quarter-sized mark. Additionally, I've heard that the airsoft paintball rounds do not always work correctly, but the airsoft folks on the forum would know much more about that than I do.
