EDIT: Or would it be better to trade for this Freeflow Dark 'Cocker BODY? It would be fun to build a 'cocker from the ground up and the Dark 'Cocker bodies were only 1/100.

That's just an all-stock mag. With some love, you can get something like this with ease.
Edit: The main appeal of Mags are their simplicity. They are probably more fool proof and tougher than a Tippmann! Not to mention the upgrade potential is through the roof. Kinda like the 'cockers I guess, so it's personal preference. Mags are awesome guns. Super upgradeable and reliable as all get up. I'd trade for the Dark Cocker body and build a cocker from the ground up. ------------- Pumpker'd; (V.) When a pump player runs up and shoots you at point blank range because you thought 20bps made you good. |

HOW DARE YOU!!! ok well anyway aside from that guy being a huge ok well i can't say what i was gonna say but ok that mag to preform like you would want it would be somewhat exspensive and i'd rather build a mag from the ground up cause you get to selct every single part. If you want a mag prject build a pneumag i think may do that sometime in the near future. But basically you should do what you have the funds to do. Don't start on a prject but have to stop because your broke.

Well, that depends. The 'cocker guy said he'd trade the body, he never said the kit. When I get the chance, I'm gonna hit him up on AIM and see what all will be with it. To me, a complete body kit would be body, feedneck, ASA, front block and back block. I would not trade for the mag, it looks very stock. Maybe trade your cocker for that body, only because its so rare. I would keep the cocker if I were you though... -------------

The Mag is pretty much stock. Even then, stock Mags are worth like $150. My 'cocker is worth about $120, due to dwindeling resale. Mags are actually going up in value. The 'cocker guy hasn't gotten back to me... ------------- Evil Elvis: "Detrevni is definally like a hillbilly hippy from hell"

Trade you my Mag for your Painmaker. (Joke if you dont get it) I know everyone has claimed that Mags are one of the simplest, most durable markers ever. Even more durable than Tippmanns, but mine has been very problematic. I would trade my Mag if some very interesting deals came up, but im happy with it. -------------

Actually, I might have to trade my Painmaker. It's too fast. I can't feed it with the Revvy, and I don't particularly want to spend a bunch of cash on a hopper. Also, on CO2, the reg gets a bit, er, cold... It runs fine on CO2, and I really don't want to spend money on HPA too much either. I guess it's time to look into a pump. Oh yeah, Mags are an early semi-auto concept that is still being used, changed very little. They use blow forward technology instead of blowback. I've got a 'cocker (obviously) and I have NO problems whatsoever running CO2. Mech 'cockers are fine on CO2, but if you have HPA, it's obviously better. Yes I know the only Mag valve that runs on CO2 is the Classic or the Minimag Classic (slightly higher quality). I used to know where a Mag animation was, but I forgot. The reliability of a mech cocker on CO2 is iffy at best. Especially if the CO2 makes it past the regulator, you'll blow your pneumatics. Especially the LP lines. Cold weather makes it all that much more touchy. Mags also have issues should you get some liquid CO2 into the valve. A big reason Cockers won out over mags in the long run in my old market (NY) was due to the fact that you could run both an anti-syphon tank and an expansion chamber on the cocker with ease, vs the set-up changes needed for the mag (due to the rearward position of the valve). Neither of those markers ever saw their full potential until N2/HPA came along. AGD was one of the primary proponents of HPA and built some of the first systems for it due to this. Tippmann, by far, has made the best CO2 markers on the planet, legit. ______ edit BTW, building a cocker from the ground up is fun, but getting harder and harder now. Pev's (largest retailer in the US) only carries a handful of parts anymore. |

I've had that 'cocker for a year now, and have only run non-siphoned CO2 directly. I've never had a problem. Heck, I only just now need to retime it. As for the building, I have never in my life found a shortage of 'cocker supplies. OHHHHHH!!!! Convert the rainmaker to a pump, THEN frankenstien a cocker's pneumatics onto it, THEN drop about $300 for an E2 E-blade on e-bay (that's a lot of 'e's there) and you'll have the first ever Electro-pump-mech-electro conversion EVAR!!!!!11!1!!one!!11!

I wasn't anticipating on getting rid of it unless an ub3r c00l offer showed up. It looks like no one wants to spend the huge sums of money I'm asking for on a Brass Eagle, so no go! Anyway, more good news: I over tightened the QEV (AGAIN!!!) and being typical Palmer's Products, it was brass and broke. Im fine with Ions I almost bought one, and I told my friend to get one. I shot his and it just feels like crap. And everyone and there mother has an ion. O get this I was at a tounry a couple weeks ago and this kid asked if my mag was an ion that really made me mad. Maybe the kid thought you were smart enough to make an ion look like a mag. A lot of people change the look of their tippmann and I respect that, maybe the kid was looking up to you as an experienced player that knew a lot about guns, and even changing the look of them, drastically.
