i recently bought a cyclone feed and a 16 inch smarts parts linear barrle for my 98 custom.  The gun worked great for a while but more recently the bolt uncocks itself once it begins to shoot fast.  The problem has gotten so bad that i now have to recock it after every shot.  Does anyone know what is wrong and how to fix it?

check your O-ring on the rear bolt.

If that o-ring is messed up, the seal is bad and causes the pressure that normally resets the rear bolt to just escape around the sides.

Or, it could be as simple as oiling the "O" ring.

Would it have anything to do with the cyclone or is it just a coincidence?

Thanks there was an O ring stuck in the valve.  A little WD-40 and now it works great.  Thanks for the help.

*CRINGE*

using WD-40 to oil a paintball gun is VERY unadvised. the stuff builds up rather quickly and can cause more problems then the issue "fixed" by the aplication of it. you SHOULD be fine with this one time but please in the future avoid thick heavy oils in your marker.

Use Paintball oil, or certain Air tool oils. I think Silicon spray should be fine as well
