All aftermarket barrels are going to give you the same distance with the exceptions of the Flatline and Apex. Accuracy depends on a good paint to bore match and diminishes with distance. I would reccomend a LAPCO Bigshot as your first upgrade. From there, it's a matter of opinion on what you think you need. You may look into a cyclone, RT, Fang trigger, etc.

In order to help you out more, we'll need more info on what you're looking for.

Pumpker'd; (V.) When a pump player runs up and shoots you at point blank range because you thought 20bps made you good.

agree. a barrel is always a good upgrade. bigshots are good accuracy and little hassle.

get the Apex, good investment that wont let you down. If your into Milsim, get a stock next, then some type of red dot scope and if your really into it add a mag kit.

-------------
Tippmann A5, Flatline RIS shroud, RT, AVS Laser, Napco Red dot scope, M4 sliding stock, G36k Mag kit, Rased rail sight...

no even better for accuracy and distance, and I'm actually serious about this.

Get the apex
Get an aftermarket barrel like the J&J or Dye Ultralite
Get the UMS Apex Adapter

Stick the UMS Adapter Apex on your accurate barrel and now you can slide the Apex tip on to your accurate barrel.

= accuracy and distance

Edit--- BTW the Apex tip won't fit on the Lapco Bigshot (from what I've been told) but it doesn't matter because the J&J is just as good and even more silent too.

do you like the looks if so its understandable but it may not be practical
one because it adds more weight to the gun and if your running around it
may add less accuracy to the gun

For the 98 custom

Would that be the J&J ceramic?

Also 14" or 16"?

Thanks

Had a flatline but was not impressed.
