Picture this. You're lining up the perfect shot in Wii Bowling, remote in hand. You set up the shot, swing the remote with all the strength you can muster, and... follow through a little more than you intended.

I love Penny Arcade.

Oh, and if the mods don't mind a children's charity site link, please consider http://www.childsplaycharity.org/index.php - Child's Play .

Remember back in the day when a bunch of people were complaining that the part in Mario Party (the original, for the N64) where you put your palm on the joystick and rotate it as fast as you can was causing the joystick knob to dig into their skin and make them bleed?

Of course, this means the Wii sucks.  It can't be that the people breaking their TVs with it are just idiots.

People were using their palms, so they could spin faster, and it was giving people blisters. With proof of purchase, you got a free "gaming glove" which was a plain white glove.

Nintendo was a fan of Micheal Jackson, back in the day.

So why is the t.v breaking thing really happening? Are they losing their grip on the controller or their grip on life?

Was that necessery? I was simply stating and I'm sure it's been stated, but I'm pretty sure they whipped the controller at the screen in a fit of fury.

The thing that gets me it why were they swinging it so hard in the first place? The accelerometers are not giant spring loaded objects, they are tiny wafers of silicon taht are measured quite precisely.. Hell read the Wii Sports instruction booklet, Nintendo says to "swing gently."

^ The first time I played Wii sports baseball I swung as hard as I could hit the ball and it went out of bounds next swing I lightly waved the controller in the air in a batlike motion and boom homerun.

Or if he threw the Wiimote at the TV in frustration.

Just for implying ford has anything to do with quality makes me want to punch you in the esophagus.

I tried a PS3 today...graphics were good, but not as steller as I was expecting (very well could be the demo tv of course, so no final impressions yet)

I wasnt using the motion sensing on motor storm, and it was ok, felt a bit sluggish, especially on accelerating. Watched a kid play with motion sensing, it was funny watching the sixaxis wig out and send him off a cliff whenever it felt like it.
