Hey guys I did a little work on my Marker and need a question answered.  I have a Tippman 98 Custom ACT and added a Double Trigger as well as a Response Trigger on it.  I have an Electronic Viewloader Revolution Hopper on it and I added a 16" Barrel as well.  My question is would a low expansion chamber make a bid difference if I added one to this gun?  What is the purpose of the Low Expansion chamber?  Thanx for the info guys.

I think you have 2 different things mixed together. Expansion chambers are used with CO2 and increase the consistency of your gun and keep liquid CO2 out. The Low Pressure Kit is used with N2 to turn your high pressure operating Tippmann into a low pressure operating one.

Expansion chambers are great upgrades to have on your Tippmann if you plan to use CO2 for a long time. Remote lines do the same thing and allow you to relocate your tank.

If you want to run your gun on N2, all you need is a high output(800psi) HPA tank. If you want to drop your guns operating pressure, that is where the LPK comes in.

In addition to what Sinister said, a double trigger doesn't always work the best with an RT as you can over-compensate on the pressure it takes to pull the trigger and negate the RT effect. We had a lot of issues with this back when the RT came out in 2000.

If you're wondering about the LPK, it definately helps when it comes to air efficiency in your marker. It also helps the accuracy of the marker to some extent as you are (relatively) gently pushing the ball out the barrel rather than striking it with great force to achieve the same effect.
