Well yesterday I was playing basketball, and I don't really remember what happened but I ended up hitting my head on the corner of a concrete wall. I am going to the doctor tomorrow but I like I had a small concussion. that is all

A person who has had a concussion may sleep through the night. You do not need to keep awake a person with a recent concussion. This was recommended for years to observe a person for any changes after a concussion. People worried that the person may go into a coma and never wake up. This is no longer believed to be true. You can allow someone to sleep after a concussion. This should cut down on sleep deprivation for all involved. People with concussion should be seen by a doctor if they were unconscious for more than 5 minutes or amnesia persists or if they do not appear to behave normally. ------------- [IMG]http://i27.tinypic.com/1538fbc.jpg"> Squeeze Box ☣ |

67f here in indiana so i was playing paintball for the first time since april. i had a concussion once. at some summer day camp thing when i was in thrid grade, we were playing a game. basically a bunch of kids stand around the outside of a parachute and hold it. someone yells a color and if you are wearing it, you run to the other side before the parachute comes down on top of you. so me and some girl were running as fast as we could with our heads down. we got to the middle and that was all. |

I got knocked out snowboarding about 6 years ago. I went to sleep about an hour and a half later and I was fine.

I had a few concussions from other people overshooting my head at close range. four +, shots to the head at 15 feet sucks

^ Ouch! A kid on my wrestling team got a Concussion in football, one day at a duel meat against a state champ he had some sort of problem, and couldn't keep his head up, it was kinda scary. -------------

the kids that lead tackles with there head are the most fun to hit, i bit through my mouthguard and chipped a tooth when this 6'4'' 300lbs kid jumped on me, i am 5'6'' 180lbs...he won. ------------- Canadians do it on top.

there is this kid at my school who clames he got a concussion and got
amnesia. The only reason he does this, is to get attention from the chix. Well it doesnt seem to be working to well, all the girls can see right through his purposeful running into doors. I hope you get better But......if you do die i need a new pod pack and pods so you wanna hook a brother up -------------

| I knew a kid in middle school who got in a bike accident and got his head run over. Bad amnesia. He didn't know who he was, who anybody else was and retained pretty much only things he'd learned up until he was about ten. Weird having him have no idea who I was when I met him again a few years later. |
