So yah my school is in the middle of a gang war right now and I'm iffy about going tomorrow. A escalade full of adults in blue supposedly with guns was arrested yesterday. Plus rumor says someone that graduated 5 years ago came in and placed a gun in the auditorium. For weeks rumor sayed that gangs are going to shoot are school. Now I school gave up using metal detectors and now just as a group of cops frisk us every morning. There are atleast two cops their during the day and atleast 6 when we leave. To add to that a couple of kids were found in possession of alot of cocaine(and not the energy drink) |

I'll blame it mostly on a failed education system and unmitigated urban squaller.... I would like to say, historically speaking....the world isn't going to crap like everyone likes to say....if anything, it's getting better. Slowly, but yeah... I know how that is. Our school has so much tension between gangs AND races... There's at least 2 hispanic gangs, a couple of redneck gangs, and at least 4 "dominant" african american gangs that don't get along. My school the only "gang" war is the Black people and rednecks last year there was a rumor that at one of the football games there was gonna be a big fight with rednecks bringing shotguns and rifles and the "thugs" using their pistols. But it never happened -------------

good idea we dont want to lose you mateo well at my school these kids were dumb and had and airsoft battle in the parking lot well the cop at my school called backup and a bunch of cop cars came rolling in the parking lot and they got out of cars guns pulled it was pretty funny to see the looks on the kids faces -------------

His point is that everyone thinks that the world is headed down, but that is only because every bad thing that happens anywhere in the world is broadcasted on 50 different news stations, 300 websites, and all over the radio. A hundred years ago, unless there was a major war going on, you didn't hear about unfortunate or negative happenings. Therefore, with the people's "awareness" rising, it SEEMS like there is more violence and crime. He'd just focus on the fact that you used Canadian stats..... Anyway, on the Native American thing, my opinion is that they are about the only minority group in this country that has much of a complaint. We took their land, both by force and by bamboozlement, we destroyed their culture and committed genocide against their entire race....I'd probably be militant if I were an Indian.... Oh and I realize that we weren't the ones to did those things to them....Great Great Grandpa and whatnot....doesn't matter. They were done for our benefit and in our names. Reparations need to be made and, since we're still living, we're the ones who have to make them. I wrong needs to be righted. That simple. Don't get me wrong, I'm as annoyed at whiny minorities as anyone else, it just that I think the Native Americans happen to have a somewhat better case than most. ------------- |

Germany flooded money production and runaway inflation made their currency worthless, thus being allowed to consider their debt "paid" after only some millions out of the billions they owed. Wait, I think that was WW1 not WW2. Ah bloody hell. I seriously hate being out of Social Studies for a decade. Can't remember anything anymore I learned from those classes
However that's my fault for wording it improperly. They indeed were asked. But it never really got paid.
