Im sure this has already been covered a hundred times but (I have searched the recent pages and can't find one that fits) My 98c is shooting 1 good ball then one lame short (+/-20') shot then can't re-cock. It is stock Tipp. and the tank is full. I did take off half the shell to install a new CAR stock. Maybe theres something that might not have re-seated properly, or maybe the spring is just dead? If someone knows could they send me a link to a relavent forum issue. Thanks in advance. ChupaCabre |

For starters, check the screws that hold the valve in place and ensure marker is thourghly oiled.

it could be way too many things for me to take the time to list at the moment lol. For starters,,, Take the stock off and replace all the original parts back into the marker then try to shoot it . If you still have a problem look and make sure you havent put something in incorrectly ,or a bit of dirt or debris hasnt gotten inside the marker . If the marker starts working correctly again , look at the add-ons you tried to install . The problem you described is a rather common one with aftermarket stocks from just about every manufacturer . ------------- SL68-II , micro honed and polished .688" bore . Tuff Enuf . Yep, its the valve bolts. Tighten them, but not too tight as to strip them out. |
