Well, I'm not really new here but what ever. I have a viewloader revolution tripod with x-board. I want to upgrade to a better hopper. What do you think is a good hopper for a 98 custom pro with these specs.
Tippmann 98 custom pro Lapco Bigshot 14" 6 pods E-trigger GTA double trigger Regulator Low pressure kit VL revolution tripod with x-board 48ci 3000psi
ok now can you please tell me a good hopper that can feed 20+ bps??
Thanks in advance, -Deadaim349

I would suggest spending money now on a Halo or something of that nature, so you will never really have to upgrade again.

A stock Halo or a Vlocity Junior would be the cheapest options, both hovering a little under 100 new. Halos might be cheaper nowadays. I forget.
I don't know what upgrades (if any) are available for the VLJ right now, but for the Halo I recommend:
- Delrin drive cone (Critical, Zenitram, Hybrid, etc.)
- Delrin spring cup (Critical)
- Good batteries

Can your marker hit 20bps? I use a Dye LCD Matrix with an optical board in it and I still just use my 12VRevy (no x board) or empire reloader with it and rarely get a mis-fed round. I played the other day w/o the eye turned on and didn't even chop a ball. I guess if you're wanting to go full-tilt on auto, then yes, a 20bps+ hopper is a good investment, but unless you're currently experiencing feed problems, I'd save your money and buy a Halo or something off of e-bay down the road when you either switch markers or start having issues.

Yesterday when I was playing i used my revy. Then i tried my friends hopper on my gun, and I could shoot so much better and it consistently feed it. I think my friend had an avalanche or apache or something like that. Also what do you think is the best board for a halo?

If I'm shooting like 4 bps just doing something like just shooting
slowly will it still be good? Will it push the balls to fast and make
them brake or something? BTW I am talking about all this with just the
standard halo B?

new shell(red),Brand new motor, Brand new drive housing, Brand new
drive cone, Brand new jam guard beads, Brand new wiring, the only
things that aren't new are the Lid the Rip Drive the board and board

First one would be better. A new door is like 5 bucks or something, so it's not worth it.

I'd suggest hybrid shells for it because if you ever break paint you can clean it out much easier and i belive they have warrenty about the shells breaking.

DeadAim. I saw those two deals on ebay and when it said 24 bps, I was skeptical about his knowledge. It is the same guy selling both of those halos, but he has a pretty good feedback.

A stock Halo with good batteries can drop 24. Feed 24? No.

Why do you need 20bps when most tourneys limit you to 15bps max? are you playing on an outlaw field or just a above average field with good insurance? p.s. unless you are ramping just try to pull 20bps (its awkward if not impossible for the better majority of people to do.
------------- table of what really makes your marker work
*Gnomes= autocockers
*Fairies= Angels
*Pixies= Timmys
*leprachauns= tippys
*goblins= spyders
*elves= mags
*lawyers= smartparts
Ya I'm that smart

go with a halo reloader.. just incase you ever upgrade to a faster gun you still have a hopper that will keep up..
------------- 98% of ion owners think ions are better than any high end gun. If you would like to bonus ball these idiots put this in your sig.

I easily cap my board and people have come up and asked if I have an upgraded board in My Ion because it rips so fast. Even a ref came to me and asked.

I suggest the empire reloader 2. This is a nice hopper for e tippmann. It is sound activated and that makes the hopper good. It don't cost you a fortune. I think hoppers like the halo B are to expensive for tippmanns. They are good for speedballmarkers like matrix, ego, dmc, dm5, promaster...

New thing for our team is the Pulse with RF.
I was told a man that weighed over 200lbs was jumping on one at Cup to prove how strong the shell is and it didn't crack or nothing.
