i play woodsball and just bought the a-5 on saturday and was wondering if i should put a expation chamber on it and maybe a double trigger. i bought the e-grip for the a-5 and it works great i was wondering if it would be better to have the double trigger and what else i should do to it. i also have a 14" barrel for it.

then for the 98c i was wondering what upgrades to add since i play a lot in the winter time i was wondering if a expantion chamber would help out at all and i have a 12" barrel on that

Expansion chamber is a good upgrade for either marker if you only shoot CO2. Some alternatives are an anti-siphon tank or a remote. The double trigger would probably be good if you want to achieve high rates of fire with the egrip. Check out the APE or JCS triggers.

the double trigger would be a waste of money. imo it looks out of place and you wont be able to achieve higher rates of fire then full auto.

A double trigger looks out of place on a paintball gun??? Sometimes full auto isn't allowed at fields or in games, so double triggers help get the ROF up when you can only use semi.

I don't know what you are smoking, but a double trigger would definately
help you achieve a higher ROF. The reason is, if im not mistaken full auto
is
capped on the a5 boards but if you take it in a response mode the board
is
not capped. Last but not least, how does a double trigger look out of
place
on a paintball gun go to any legitament couarse and 7 out of 10 guns will
have a double trigger.

Sorry for not answering questions but an expansion chamber is a great
upgrade. But an even better one, would have to be compressed air
because it is much more consistant than co2 no matter what you do.
Also hopefully you can tell from above but a double trigger would also be
a good upgrade.

the a-5 can use compressed air or co2 without any mod, so its up to you to choose which one you whould rather have. Try serching co2 vs. nitro, theres plenty of info on the benifits of one vs the other.

It won't hurt anything. It also won't help anything. I'd imagine it would work somewhat like a volumizer and possibly help prevent shootdown. Correct me if I am wrong.

I think you should get the best of the best for everything if you decide you want an expansion chamber... there is something better:

Palmers Stabilizer.

If you decide on a trigger I think the best one is:

The new TechT Fang trigger.

Not necessarily wrong, but some people have noticed some issues with the RT system when running HPA through an X-chamber, but see no problems when the run a direct line into the valve. The X-chamber allows co2 to expand by slowing the flow of the liquid CO2 so it has time to expand into a gas. It will also slow a gas down a bit, but it isn't noticeable if you aren't using anything like an RT which will siphon off exhaust gas from the valve.

Also, double-triggers are on almost every single electo-marker out there. Very rarely do you see anyone in tournaments use a single trigger (it's only some of the old-school 'cocker-boys anymore). The reason is that having a double trigger allows you to walk the trigger getting in two pulls for every one that you normally would. If I were to fire my 'trix single-fingered, I'd get something like 12-14bps out of it playing normally. If I walk the trigger, I can get closer to 20bps. Of course, I'm using an optical board which cuts down on the travel needed to cause the marker to fire, but the double trigger certainly ups my rof in tournament lock.

__________EDIT______

If you were to gut the x-chamber, then it'd definitely work as a volumizer to some extent and you wouldn't have the flow-rate issues.

hey what would be the best thing to shot through that a-5 with the e-grip on it compressed air or nitro and does a low presser kit help, i'm using co2  right now and go thro it to fast and what kinda tank would be a great investment for the compressed air or nitro

compressed air and nitro = same thing

An LPK ain't a bad investment but I don't see it happening on an A5.

I'd say Crossfire 68/4500 Fiberwrapped

Cause most normally put LPK on gun meant for speedball.  The A5 is heavy, big/bulky, no really "made" for speedball.

So I don't see it happening.

I see it better on a 98 Custom, but not an A5.
