Oh no, not another Oklahoma D-Day thread!
Yep, it's about that time to start thinking about the World's Largest Paintball Event! Even more so, now that it's upon its 10th year Anniversary and shaping up to be the biggest slugfest that the paintball world has ever known. For this colossal week long event, the German side is looking to expand their dominance by recruiting the best players from around the globe. Our side is not about politics or trench warfare or defending static positions. We're hardcore woodsballers! Period! The Germans have some top notch specialty units that actively seek out and engage the enemy on their own terms. These units include the Brandenburg Kommandos, the Geisterjägers Sniper Corp, the 352nd Panzerjager anti-tank unit and of course, the 6th Fallschirmjager-Regiment. Having 200 slots, 6th FJR "Green Devils" are looking for the best players and scenario teams to join our ranks.
Tactics: Ambushes, raids, direct action missions and patrolling. Although we're based on a WWII German unit, the Green Devils run more like a modern day US Army Ranger Regiment. Organization: 20 Different Teams making up 4 Battalions with a Heavy Weapons Platoon operating Double Troubles. The unit has space for walk-ons, small teams and entire scenario teams. Wolf Guard, Band of Brothers, BOHICA, and Identity Crisis are the some of the teams that make up the unit's backbone. Rest assured you'll be slinging paint next to your buddies and experienced woodsballers, not a bunch of n00bs. To join the 6th, you must complete the http://www.oklahomadday.com/forum/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=5053 - Paratrooper Readiness Assessment given the Friday before the main game. After which, We'll provide unit training that includes ambush techniques, patrolling and other immediate action drills specifically designed for Woodsball. You'll take the field with confidence and leave the game with a victory as well as knowledge of advanced paintball skills that will enhance your everyday play. Further, being the 10th Year Anniversary this year, the 6th FJR is awarding a Tippmann A5A2 Broadsword and a set of Multicams to the unit's top player! The 6th FJR is the only unit that will be doing this. The Germans took last year's game by scoring over 3096 points to the Allies' 552 points. Let's do it again in 2007 and make it back to back victories. Do something different this year at Oklahoma D-Day: Be a German Paratrooper in the 6th Fallschirmjager - "Green Devils!" -------------

Don't wait until the last minute for this unit. We are getting about 5-6 new registrations a week and it will be filled by March. Plus, after April you will not be able to choose your unit.
After May 15, Registration goes up to $100 -------------

Admission for the week is only $65 - it includes air and all of the mini scenarios. -------------

As far as price, this is about teh best value you will find in paintball. Like Buckshot said, $65 not just for a one day game... $65 for a whole week of all the speedball you can play, several mini scenarios, tons of vendors, the night game, and the two day main event.

Time is running to choose your unit for Oklahoma DDay 2007. April 1st, you'll only be able to register for a particular side and be placed in a unit which may not be your first choice.
Join the 6th Fallschirmjager and take the fight to the Allies. -------------
