hey, my gun weighs about 7 pounds when its all ready to go.
It is a 98 custom with a drop forward, red dot scope, 14 in linear barrell,  47 c-inch 3000 psi hpa tank with guerrila regulator and it has a revolution hopper. Those are all the main things that contribute to the weight.

Is 7 pounds considered heavy?? I am playing woodsball though.

any response would be greatly appreciated

really depending on who you talk to they will all have different opinions like i dont think 7 pound is bad for woods ball. But then again im a pretty big guy so maybe you or some one else may think that 7 pounds is quite heavy.

7 pounds doesn't sound bad. With paintballs?

The tank makes up about half that. Maybe more than half.

If you can handle it, don't worry about it. If you can't, spend the money to fix it or to buy some dumbbells.

i had an osiris (basically an e-cocker on steroids) it weighed about 7lbs. with an empty hopper and no tank, so compared to that its pretty light.

7 pounds isnt that bad. If you feel that that's too much to be carrying, you may want to look into a remote line so that you can carry your tank in a harness. In all seriousness, you should be able to handle it.

Pumpker'd; (V.) When a pump player runs up and shoots you at point blank range because you thought 20bps made you good.

"Heavy" is something that is more dependant on the user than the equipment.

7lbs may be "light" to someone, "heavy" to someone else.

Are you comfortable with it? If yes, then no, it's not heavy.

Vikings aren't all that bad. They were made to be milled, and whe milled, you can get is between 2-3 pounds. Everything else will certainly be the bulk of the weight though.

7lbs is less than an M-16A2. I personally wouldn't complain.

If it get's too crazy you can always go Remote. I like my guns heavy but I'm a MILSIM type. Others pefer their guns to be like Formula One racers as light as can be. The great thing of paintball is that there is something for everyone.
